Nicolai Bergmann NOMU aoyama will be hosting a live painting performance by Danish artist Eske Touborg from March 6 (Wed) to 8 (Fri), 2024.
Eske Touborg is an emerging Danish artist who uses art to connect the viewer’s mind and surrounding environment. Using mainly minimal yet elegant materials, he creates artworks that invite us to contemplate and distort ourselves and our surroundings.Eske Touborg, has always been fascinated by Japan, incorporating Japanese culture to his work. He has finally arrived in Japan to hold his exhibition, “FLOW, US” -ESKE TOUBORG IN HAKONE-, which will feature the floral designs of flower artist Nicolai Bergmann, Hakone’s natural beauty, and art. The exhibition will be held at Nicolai Bergmann Hakone Gardens from March 20(Wed), 2024.
Prior to the exhibition, Eske Touborg will be creating a live painting on a 6m x 4m wall inside Nicolai Bergmann NOMU aoyama, for a duration of three days from March 6 (Wed) to 8 (Fri). This is a unique opportunity to witness the live creation of Eske Touborg’s artwork inside our cafe, while enjoying NOMU’s signature Danish foods and drinks.
