Halloween at Nicolai Bergmann Hakone Gardens

From September 25 to November 4, Nicolai Bergmann Hakone Gardens will be transformed with festive Halloween decorations to welcome our guests. More than 500 pumpkins will bring color to the grounds, creating seasonal photo spots set against Hakone’s spectacular natural landscape. The artistic harmony of autumn plants and flowers offers a one-of-a-kind experience found only here.
During the event, Café NOMU hakone will also feature a special Halloween menu. Pack your favorite food and drinks into a picnic basket and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the autumn gardens. You’ll also find pumpkins in unique shapes and colors, along with seasonal flowers, available to purchase as gifts or for your home décor.
To celebrate, Hakone Gardens will host an Instagram Campaign throughout the Halloween period. Follow the official account @nicolaibergmann_hakonegardens, post your photos or videos taken in the gardens with the hashtag #nbhg_halloween2025, and share your special memories. Five lucky winners (10 guests in total) will receive a pair ticket with complimentary drinks for the Christmas season.
Halloween-Limited Menu
At NOMU hakone, our Danish chef presents a special autumn menu crafted with fresh local ingredients from the Hakone region. The Halloween Lunch Set includes a main plate with original creations such as white fish pie and pumpkin dishes, paired with dessert and coffee or tea. We also offer a comforting seasonal drink—roasted green tea (houjicha) latte, with its soothing aroma.
Take a moment to relax at the café after exploring the gardens, with a warm drink and delicious meal in hand.
