Today the official book “The Flower BOX Exhibition – Celebrating 20 years of the original Nicolai Bergmann flower box” has been published. It is a digest of more than 100 works presented during the exhibition held at Roppongi Hills, Tokyo in November 2020. It also includes the story behind the flower box and its artist and inventor Nicolai Bergmann. In addition to the original black flower box, seasonal designs and flower boxes created in collaboration with numerous brands are beautifully captured.
The book features one-of-a-kind artworks created by Nicolai, world-renowned artists and Japanese craftsmen who were inspired by the flower box. Don’t miss the magnificent pictorials of the collaborations with Hirori Ochiai (fashion designer/FACETASM), Kashiwa Sato (creative director), Kakiemon Sakaida (ceramic artist), Imaizumi Imaemon (ceramic artist), Nobuko Nakamura (doll artist) and many others.
