For ten days from Friday, July 4 to Sunday, July 13, 2025, Nicolai Bergmann Hakone Gardens will host a special collaborative exhibition with TRADMAN’S BONSAI titled “Natural Forms that Transcend Time and Culture”.
This unique exhibition unites two worlds of botanical artistry:Nicolai Bergmann Hakone Gardens, a one-of-a-kind space created from the ground up by floral artist Nicolai Bergmann to foster a deeper connection between people and nature, and TRADMAN’S BONSAI, a progressive bonsai studio dedicated to sharing the traditional Japanese art of bonsai with the world, while constantly pushing the boundaries of conventional expression.
Together, these two creative forces will explore and present the sculptural beauty of nature through a shared artistic dialogue. Inside six glass pavilions scattered throughout the gardens, you’ll find a harmonious fusion of TRADMAN’S BONSAI creations and Nicolai Bergmann’s floral designs—each pairing offering a distinct and immersive spatial experience.す。
Although flowers and bonsai are living in the present moment, they embody a timeless quality that transcends the concept of time itself. This 10-day event invites visitors to experience nature more intimately, reflect on the flow of time, and reconsider the relationship between nature, time, and beauty.
