Nicolai Bergmann Hakone Gardens will celebrate two years since its opening on April 15, 2024.
To celebrate these two years and to express our gratitude to everyone, we will hold a special anniversary event from Monday, April 15 to Sunday, May 12.
First, at the entrance, visitors are greeted by a huge flower basket made of a combination of trees. As you proceed through the park, you will see 33,000 bulbous flowers, including rare varieties of tulips, muscari, and crocuses, blooming in various places.
In addition, works from the “FLOW, US” exhibition by Danish artist Eske Tuborg will blend into the park, creating a special atmosphere of countless flowers and art.
Also, each pavilion will feature a different floral installation each week. Visitors can enjoy Nicolai Bergmann’s unique floral designs, which are no less than blooming flowers.
NOMU hakone will also offer a limited menu reminiscent of a Danish meal.
We have prepared a special omelette to be enjoyed with the chef’s special sauce, and a plate of rye bread and bacon all at once.
A limited number of Hakone Gardens limited-edition flower boxes that come with sweets will also be available.
Come to Nicolai Bergmann Hakone Gardens for a celebration of spring, flowers, art, and our second anniversary.
In celebration of its second anniversary, the park will also host a special floral workshop conducted by Nicolai Bergmann himself and a guided tour of the park on Saturday, April 27 and Wednesday, May 1.
This is a small-group floral workshop to enjoy spring and a guided tour that will tell the story of beautifully blooming bulbous flowers, floral installations and designs, and an introduction to the work of “FLOW, US” by Eske Tuborg.
