To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original flower box, we are excited to announce the limited release of the “ORIGAMI” flower box, created in collaboration with Danish design studio LAWA DESIGN.
The collection will be available starting Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at all Nicolai Bergmann Flowers & Design locations across Japan as well as the official online ohop.
Crafted from oak wood—a material widely beloved in Scandinavian design—the lid of the box features a three-dimensional motif inspired by flower petals made of Japanese origami paper. The bottom of the box is engraved with a special anniversary logo to mark this milestone year.
LAWA DESIGN, the studio behind the box design, was founded by Danish architects Eva Brzesk and Allen Shakir. Known for their architectural approach and experimental spirit, LAWA DESIGN creates refined products that emphasize geometric form and sustainability.
The flower box features six preserved flower designs, each expressing a unique color palette and rhythm. These arrangements blend the refined sensibilities of Japanese aesthetics with the minimalism and functionality of Scandinavian design. They serve as elegant art pieces to add a touch of beauty to everyday spaces—whether in your living room, entryway, or workspace.
